Our goal is to provide you with a cozy and inviting space in this beautiful paradise. Our gastronomy is always evolving and is inspired by traditional Asian dishes, using local products and creating new and unique experiences for the particular palette and gastronomes. Complementing the culinary experience in this special environment we have our own exquisite and award-winning locally brewed craft beer, the best Ecuadorian wines and delicious cocktails.

The Rock

Our story started on Baltra Island (1942-1945), when Ecuador gave the island to the US to protect the Panama Canal during World War II. The American soldiers never referred to the island as "Baltra" as identified on the maps, nor did they use the military code "Base Beta". They simply named it The Rock because of its size. 4.000 soldiers arrived at this place to wait for a war that never came. Fortunately they had the first bar on the Islands which they called The Rock Beer Garden, where they spent their nights socialising and having fun. This is the origin of The Rock.
